Upon arrival in Muscat, our team greets you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel. In the evening, we enjoy a gentle introduction to the Omani lifestyle at Al Mouj. The area is a lively waterfront quarter with a marina, cafés, and restaurants. It’s the perfect spot to stretch your legs after the journey. Further, taste Arabian delicacies, and feel the blend of tradition and modernity that defines Muscat.

The Oman Classic Tour begins with Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. It is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture, where marble, chandeliers, and calligraphy create an atmosphere of elegance and spirituality. We continue to the Muscat Gate Museum, overlooking the old city entrance. After that, arriving at the ceremonial Al Alam Palace, the royal residence framed by two Portuguese forts.

Later, the journey brings us to Bait Al Zubair Museum and the Oman National Museum. These treasures offering insight into Oman’s heritage through art, costumes, and archaeology. By afternoon, we wander in the maze of Mutrah Souq, where aromas of frankincense and spices fill the air. Then, we walk along the Corniche, watching the old dhows moored against the backdrop of rugged mountains.

Driving east along the scenic coast of the Gulf of Oman, we pause at Bimmah Sinkhole. It is a natural wonder filled with turquoise waters. Soon after, we continue to Wadi Shab, a lush valley of streams, caves, and palm groves. Further along, we reach Qalhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site once renowned as a key port on the Indian Ocean trade routes. Arriving in Sur, the day ends with visits to Bilad Sur Castle and the traditional Dhow Factory. In the factory, shipbuilders preserve centuries-old craftsmanship.

Our day is dedicated to Oman’s eastern coastline. We begin at Al Hadd Turtle Beach, where endangered green turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. Our visits takes us to the dramatic cliffs of Ras Al Jinz, marking the easternmost edge of the Arabian Peninsula. The afternoon is spent absorbing the tranquility of Sur’s coastal life. Also, there are opportunities to witness fishing traditions and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Heading into the heart of Oman, the endless dunes of Wahiba Sands rise before us. The desert glows under the desert sun. A safari across the sand introduces us to the vast silence of the desert. Also, we will experience such as camel riding and dune bashing. As evening falls, the shifting colors of the sunset paint the horizon, followed by a magical night under the stars.

Leaving the desert, we stop at Ibra Old City, once a thriving market town with ancient mudbrick houses. We then explore Falaj Al-Khatmein, a UNESCO-recognized irrigation system. Soon after, we will visit the nearby Bait Al Ridaydah, a restored fort representing Oman’s defensive heritage. In the afternoon, Albilad Historical Village brings us closer to rural traditions. Finally, the Oman Across Ages Museum connects the country’s history with its vision for the future.

Today, we explore the iconic Nizwa Fort, with its grand circular tower and panoramic city views. After that, we will immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of Nizwa Souq. It is the Bazaar of silver jewelry, pottery, and fragrant spices that bring centuries of trade to life. Nizwa, Oman’s former capital, unveils its treasures through Bait Saleet Castle and Falaj Daris. It is another UNESCO-listed falaj system that has sustained agriculture for centuries. After that, oman Classic tour continues to Al Hamra Historical Village. We will embrace traditional homes and cultural practices reveal the essence of mountain life in Oman. After that, we will visit Bahla Fort – A UNESCO-recognized mudbrick fortress. It symbolizes wisdom and survival, with water channels nourishing desert gardens.

Overnight Nizwa,

On our final day, we return to Muscat, concluding the journey with a visit to the elegant Royal Opera House, an icon of Oman’s dedication to arts and culture. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be time for last-minute exploration or relaxation before your transfer to the airport for departure.

Visa for citizens from the U.S.A, Canada, the Great Britain and South Ireland takes around 40 days to be issued.

It is your responsibility to check your passports valid for 6 months after the date of their return home, also obtaining all necessary info for visas, inoculations and preventative medicines as may be required for the duration of the tour. Information about these matters or related items is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of GoPersis DMC.

Visa Restriction: Entry will be refused to travelers with any evidence of visiting Israel – not just Israeli entry stamps.

It is a condition of Iran travel that clients must have comprehensive travel insurance for international tours. We reserve the right to withdraw clients if it becomes apparent that clients are unfit. There will be No refund. It is also a requirement that clients do not cause any significant disruption to the tour or the tour group. GoPersis may refuse admission on the Iran tours, or require the client to withdraw if participation causes significant disruption.

Regarding the number of passengers, Go Persis DMC reserves comfortable and air-conditioned coaches. The coaches take travellers throughout the tour and are at any service at the request of the tour guide. Go Persis DMC manages all airport transfers from your arrival to departure for domestic and international flights. In addition, taking travellers to any train or bus station resumes the itinerary.

Iranian Debit Card is for international travellers to provide them access to the Iranian payment system. Travellers can recharge the Debit cards in currencies such as Kr, EURO and AED. Iran Debit card presents an expiry date, and travellers can receive cash in Rials everywhere. The cardholder can withdraw money from ATMs of all Iranian banks. They can also purchase tickets at museums, go shopping, and even use it for internet shopping services. At the end of the trip, travellers can receive the remaining amount in cash in Rials. Besides, travellers can purchase any other currency at exchange offices.

Iranian cuisine is heavily based on rice, bread, fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit. Meat is mostly lamb or mutton. The national drink of Iran is chai (tea), always served scalding hot, black and strong. All sorts of delicious fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and yoghurt drinks are available throughout Iran.

Alcohol is strictly forbidden. Do not take any alcohol into Iran.

The most visible daily expressions of Iran’s Shi’ite Islam are the modest dress code, and rules for behavior at mosques, both of which apply for men and women.

Dress code for women: Women are required to wear loose-fitting clothing which covers the arms and legs (long pants). A coat or top that comes down to mid-thigh (light weight trench-coat), and a headscarf. During visits to some mosques, women will also be required to wear a special robe provided at the entrance.

Dress code for men: Men are required to wear trousers and shirts with either long-sleeves or half-sleeves. (No singlets). Shorts are not permitted.

All participants of the tours must obey the laws and regulations of I.R.Iran. Any failure to do so will relieve GoPersis of all obligations under these booking conditions.

But, If the number of passengers goes under Six (that rarely happens), GoPersis offers a Private Style tour. Also, we can transfer you (under your permission) to another Fixed Departure. On the other hand, the price is fully refundable.
